Medical & Related Sciences Discovery District

MARS Centre is a planned biotech research centre for Toronto conceived as a meeting place for scientists, academics, venture capitalists and the business community. The urban campus contains 1.5 million square feet of office, research laboratory, conference, retail and open space uses. Designed as a self contained community, MARS provides a unique environment for medical research and other knowledge based industries, complete with related amenities.

The master plan consists of five buildings including a heritage building. All are linked by a glass enclosed galleria having a series of gardens and communal facilities ranging from restaurants and cafes to library and meeting facilities.
